MUSIC EXECUTIVE JEFF BRODY LAUNCHES JRB SALES & MARKETING INNOVATIONS

With distribution avenues limited and shelf space at retail very competitive, it's important to have a strong sales organization supporting your artist, label or Distribution Company. JRB SALES & MARKETING INNOVATIONS, an independent company headed by music executive Jeff Brody, intends to fill the sales and field marketing void faced by small, mid-size labels and label imprints at a lower cost than it would take for an organization to hire its own sales team. By working directly with both accounts and distributor, JRB SALES & MKT INNOVATIONS will provide understaffed organizations with a competitive edge to help them succeed in a changing music industry environment.

Using a seasoned national sales team, it is the mission of JRB to get your music to the right stores and to the consumer. JRB will offer specialized artist attention unavailable at smaller and mid-sized labels. The company will also offer clients store inventory checks, store compliance and telemarketing services, as well as the option of securing services for a single artist, project or for an entire label.

Within days of formation, JRB SALES & MARKETING INNOVATIONS contracted to collaborate with former Mercury Label Group CEO Danny Goldberg and his new organization on sales and marketing ventures. In addition, JRB has also secured contracts with Eclipse Distribution, Lethal Records, Big Daddy Distribution, and Smith Music Group and has just signed an agreement with the Miles Copelans label ARK21 RECORDS as well as a handful of other clients.

JRB SALES & MARKETING INNOVATIONS is headed by Jeff Brody who has over 30 years experience in the music industry, culminating as Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Marketing for the Mercury Records Group (including Def Jam, Capricorn and Motown). Rob Tangel, Caren Hester and Rob Chapman all with extensive industry experience will fill the positions of Vice President, Marketing, Vice President West Coast Operations and Midwest Regional Director of Sales respectively.
