Monee Green Inks Distribution Deal with BDG/RED
 Newark,
NJ (Mar. 18, 2009) - Premier music label Monee Green Entertainment
has just signed a lucrative distribution deal with BDG/Red, a subsidiary
of Sony Music Group. This partnership will enable Monee Green to expand
its reach with the dissemination of their music and DVDs in the United
States and Canada. BDG/RED will also be responsible for digital sales,
ringtones and other mobile features that would revolve around Monee
Green’s talented roster of artists. The New Jersey based label
is headed by super producer Keeb Green and is home to hard-hitting
hip hop sensation Mu Dills.
Monee Green has built a solid reputation on the East Coast for
its ability to produce incomparable beats and talented artists.
Green has produced hits for such artists as Bun B, Fat Joe, Ja Rule,
Outlawz, Naughty by Nature, Guru and more. Since the release of
Mu Dills’ single, “Fresh-N-Fly,” and several mixtapes,
the 21-year-old has been heralded as the cat that’s going
to put Jersey back on the hip hop map. According to Keeb, their
success is credited to their willingness to invest heavily in the
quality of their sound and the development of their artists, and
it’s that attention to detail and perfectionist philosophy
that sets them apart from other labels.
