RED SIGNS DEAL WITH NEWLY CREATED JRB LABEL GROUP

INDIE SALES & MARKETING HONCHO JEFF BRODY CREATES NEW COMPANY TO COMPLIMENT SUCCESSFUL SALES & MARKETING FIRM

RED Distribution, the largest and most successful independent distribution company in the music industry, announces an agreement with independent sales and marketing veteran Jeff Brody's new company, JRB Label Group.

Complimenting his already successful JRB Sales & Marketing Innovations, Brody envisions his new company as a facilitator, creating opportunities for well financed independent labels with strong A&R to garner national distribution through RED. In addition, labels will be given the opportunity of working with the proven, fully staffed JRB Sales & Marketing Innovations to handle all sales and marketing for that label. All genres of music are welcome.

Jeff Brody has worked in the music industry for 33 years. Mr. Brody began his career as a salesman at Malverne Distribution in New York where he worked with labels such as Atlantic, Stax, Epic, Mercury and Phillips and such artists as Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Rod Stewart, Led Zeppelin and CSN&Y. He formed JRB Sales & Marketing Innovations in 1998. They are strategically located in New York, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Nick Tieder, Rob Chapman and Caren Hester direct those territories sales and marketing efforts respectively. Jen Brody acts as the company's retail sales coordinator. The company's first client was Danny Goldberg and Artemis Records. Together, that team has garnered a triple platinum and 2 gold CD's in the Baha Men, Kittie and Kurupt. JRB also represents Herbie Hancock's Transparent Music, VFR Records, which garnered a #1 Heatseeker and #1 Country single with Mark McGuinn, Ultimatum Records, Antra Records, Big3 Entertainment, 24/7 Music,Tone Cool Records and the Spectrum Music Group.
